Unibank started commencing the banking business on November 1, 2006 with a capital of $20.2 Million. They are located in the city of Lynnwood , WA and planning to expand.

They offer various innovative banking solutions to help the growth of small businesses and customers throughout the Puget Sound Region.
Business Challenge
Unibank engaged Unisoft Networks to design and build their network infrastructure. Like most companies starting out they were on a tight budget and tighter deadlines. They had procured plenty of capital due to the solid business plan they proposed. From a business standpoint they were really strong but because of the nature of their business they relied heavily on technology which is an area where they are not as strong. It was imperative that they have an infrastructure in place that would adhere to all the necessary compliance standards and be easily managed by their internal IT staff. Outsourcing the brunt of the project work was really the best option.
How Unisoft Networks Helped
There was no network environment for UniBank when Unisoft Networks was hired. We designed a new network diagram, implementing two new HP DL380 Servers, running Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. The new environment was constructed using the public domain name of unibankwa.com and was initially setup at a temporary location, allowing their IT Director time to work with the servers and network prior to moving to the permanent production location.
Unisoft Networks provided the initial installation and configuration of the servers, Active Directory and Exchange, at the temporary location. Then, once the new office location was ready to open, we helped move and migrate the Servers & network environment to the permanent location and made sure that the environment was up and running seamlessly and efficiently.
Since this was a complete network design and build, Unisoft Networks fulfilled all of the hardware and software requirements for this implementation, as well as the engineering time to set up this environment and get it live. Unisoft Network's experience in the financial sector was critical to successfully deploying the infrastructure. Our experience and resourcefulness in helping new companies design and implement solutions within a given timeframe was instrumental in insuring Unibank meet their deadlines.
The Benefits
By leveraging the knowledge and availability of the Unisoft Networks' team, Unibank was able to have their bank up and running as their doors opened for their first day of operation. Unibank was able to look to Unisoft Networks for all of their hardware, software and service related requirements, and didn't need to manage any portion of this project themselves. They looked to Unisoft Networks to manage everything from start to finish and have opened up additional offices in the area that we've since helped set up. Unisoft Networks still works consistently with their IT Director as maintenance or support needs come to light.
